DJ JEREMY BASTARD
Jeremy has been DJing in NYC for 15 years. Has held down three to six weekly parties for years (Disco Down Tuesdays at Happy Ending (recently relocated to The Delancey), Magnum on the roof deck of the DL on Thursdays, and Saturday Nights at Beauty Bar NYC) for 5 years, and has guest DJed in NYC (Motherfucker, Rated X, Trash, Girls and Boys) as well as special appearances at Greenhouse, Juliette, The Highline Ballroom, Roseland Ballroom and all three floors of Webster Hall. Jeremy has spun to packed crowds as well in Los Angeles (Dim Mak Night @ Cinespace, Check Yo Ponytail, Silver Factory Studios, The Room). He has DJed along side Steve Aoki, Ted Shred, The Rapture, Designer Drugs, Grandmaster Flash, A Place To Bury Strangers, Carlos D (Interpol), Paul Robb of Information Society and David J (Bauhaus / Love and Rockets). Recently, his party Disco Down won an L-Magazine Nightlife Award for best new party (Jeremy was also nominated for "Best DJ"), as well as a Feature in this week's Time Out. Jeremy (and his parties) have been featured widely on many major photo blogs including, The Cobra Snake, Last Night's Party, The Culture of Me, Nicky Digital, Ambrel, Driven By Boredom, Darkroom Deamons, and countless others. Including features in BPM, URB, Spin Magazine, The Village Voice, L-Magazine, Time Out new york, Going.com, BPM, Urb, Paper Magazine, and tons more!
Jeremy also founded and plays guitar in the NYC based indie band Autodrone, whose debut LP "Strike A Match" (Clairecords) has garnered critical acclaim from the US, UK, and Europe.
Jeremy has a solid NYC draw and keeps clubs shaking till 4am with his ultra-chic blend of electro, indie, rock, new-wave, post-punk, house, and disco grooves.
